Notes on learning
Every now and then we realise in the evening that there’s no bread for breakfast. Not awesome. After another evening like that Gosia found the breakfast rolls recipe, and here they are.
Co jakiś czas orientujemy się wieczorem, że nie ma chleba na śniadanie. Niewybornie. Po kolejnym takim wieczorze Gosia znalazła przepis na bułki śniadaniowe. Oto one.
I live in a place dominated by Turkish culture. Green Lanes in Tottenham is home to some of the best restaurants and cafes, where after having all the koftas, shish, doners and many more you can get some unforgettable baklava with tea. Many cafes sell freshly made gozlemes. I promised one to Helena, but decided to set the bar higher and make them myself.
Mieszkam w miejscu, gdzie dominuje kultura turecka. Green Lanes w Tottenham to lokalizacja kilku z najlepszych restauracji i kawiarni, gdzie po zjedzeniu tych wszystkich koft, shish, donerów i wielu innych, możesz spróbować zniewalająco pysznej baklawy z herbatą. Wiele kawiarni przygotowuje świeże gozlemy. Obiecałem Helence jednego, ale postanowiłem podnieść sobie poprzeczkę i zrobić go samemu. Continue reading “Gozleme”
We store must of our sourdoughs in the fridge, but the one made with Helena is kept in room temperature. This means regular feeding, and this means a lot of discarded sourdough. We’re learning to tackle this today.
Większość naszych zakwasów trzymamy w lodówce, ale ten zrobiony z Heleną stoi na blacie kuchennym. To oznacza regularne karmienie, a to z kolei oznacza dużo wyrzucanego zakwasu. Dziś spróbujemy sobie z tym poradzić.

Long long time ago, when we were beginning our adventure with bread, I wanted to try and bake something with a technical challenge. I quickly chose gluten-free bread.

Do you like to make fancy looking loaves? This is what attracted my attention in this recipe. I simply had to make it.
